A: E-liquid contains 4 main ingredients, Vegetable Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, nicotine and flavouring.
Most people will use all 4, however if you are someone that doesn’t want to use nicotine or use a max VG liquid, you may not need them all. You will also need to buy bottles, labels and syringes.
A: Simple! 1 being the cost, making your own e-liquid is cost effective. 2 TPD regulations stop you from buying certain size bottles with nicotine, a DIY vaper can tailor their own liquid however they like!
A: Absolutely! While drinking concentrates or e-liquid is not advised, its unlikely to cause you any harm. The only harmful chemical would be nicotine. Applying common sense and keeping it away from children and your skin, exactly like you would with other household chemicals.
<A: We recommend a maximum of 2 years. It may well be perfectly fine after that. if you notice your e-liquid turning black or nicotine changes colour then it should be thrown away.
A: This is probably the most asked question we get here at fabvape, and the simple answer is it varies.
Certain flavours are stronger than others, we recommend keeping to 9-15% for strong fruits, menthols and confectionery , and with desserts, biscuits and custards at 20-25%. But at the end of the day its all down to personal taste.
A: Steeping is the method of leaving an E-liquid to mature its full flavour, Again with the stronger flavours, some are SAV (Shake and Vape) to 1 week, where as desserts, custards and biscuits can take up to 4 weeks.
